Presentation of the Orphek Atlantik V3 Part 1
In this review we would like to introduce the new Flagship from Orphek LED.
For those who will Keep SPS coral from Fiji or Australia, you will not want to pass the up the Orphek Atlantik V3.
The Atlantik V2.1B still remains one of the best spectral and PAR units.
Can the V3 rival these expectations?
In this Part we present you the first images and PAR tests of Henning Wiese.
The appearance remains as the V2.1 but with black acrylic instead of white.
This shows a solid line.
Four fans provide sufficient cooling to keep the electronics at a comfortable temperature.
New LED have been introduced which should increase the spectral balance for coral and the PAR.
The results below are from the first tests with the ASENSE Tech lighting passport.

PAR 572 is an outstanding value.
The calculated spectrum is very desirable.
All tests were made with all channels at 100% intensity and the power draw was 185 watts.
But now we will take a look at the Spectrum and the LEDs
The following images show extensive spectral measurements for each channel and with all channels running.

What is striking here is a very important point when comparing to other competitors.
You cannot adjust an Orphek module so that it would cause damage to coral.
Each channel can be set that so it is produces the correct intensity and spectrum for the type of coral one wishes to keep.
Even the full spectrum exists.
Therefore, it is also possible to maintain the V3 with more than sufficient light for SPS coral.
To end this, we have also made spectral measurements beneficial to different requirements of coral.
To satisfy the needs of coral, the Orphek Atlantik V3 is a winner.
This is the secret of Orphek LED Lighting.
The V3 does not have clouds and storm effects because they serve no useful purpose for coral care and propagation
At a 84 cm distance, we penetrated an extremely high density of water with excellent mol/m2s m (Photons) PAR.
Finally, you get the currently best LED module for the cost.
The Orphek Atlantik not only protects against setting errors and this model has the range to successfully illuminate both aquatic plant and SPS coral. When ordering just specify you’re your application will be and the light will be custom made for you.
This makes the Orphek Atlantik that other manufacturers will try to duplicate.
The measurements of PAR / PUR spectrum are very impressive.
What is not yet on board here is weather simulation but if Orphek does come out with a weather simulation, your unit can be upgraded just by replacing the plug in IC chip.
